CURRICULUM AT A GLANCE
One coherent journey from counting to future-ready decisions
Explore 35 sequenced weeks across Kindergarten–Grade 5. The revised pacing applies from Week 4 onward and prioritizes one core concept at a time, with Part 1 and Part 2 used only when sustained development is needed.
Framework architecture
Connected, not crowdedGrade-level standards are sequenced from prerequisites to application and mastery.
Each week has one core focus; rigor deepens the same concept rather than adding unrelated content.
Financial literacy is selective, while every week has a meaningful sustainability context.
Official grade-level outcomes support responsible use, verification and innovation.
ASSESSMENT & CUMULATIVE APPLICATION
Exam and one-day PBL checkpoints
TEACHER PLANNING
Weekly Curriculum
Teach the listed core concept after checking its prerequisite. Every Grade 1–5 plan from Week 3 also includes a Friday Math Magazine activity and wellbeing reflection.
K–5 LEARNING PROGRESSION
Vertical Alignment
Follow how each mathematical idea grows in complexity from concrete foundations to independent reasoning and application.
WEEK-BY-WEEK COHERENCE
Horizontal Alignment
Compare the learning focus and integrated curriculum elements taught across Kindergarten–Grade 5 during the same week.
Use this view for collaborative planning, resource coordination, leadership monitoring and whole-school theme connections.
35-WEEK PACING
Scope & Sequence
View the concept, CCSS standard, mathematical practice and prerequisite for every week. Revised sequencing begins in Week 4.
STANDARDS FRAMEWORK
Financial Literacy
60 progressive MH – LEAD standards, coded for authentic mathematics integration.

National AI Literacy Framework · K–5
All official learning outcomes are mapped: Cycle 1 for K–4 and Cycle 2 for Grade 5. UAE-AI codes are local navigation codes created for this curriculum.
PROJECT-BASED LEARNING
K–5 PBL Checkpoints and Project Days
Week 9 is Assessment 1 and replaces one project checkpoint. Kindergarten, Grades 1, 3, 4 and 5 complete a focused 45-minute PBL in Week 11. Grade 2 uses Week 11 as a full place-value teaching week and resumes cumulative PBL at the later checkpoint.
QUALITY ASSURANCE
Leadership Evidence
A concise overview for curriculum review, coaching and inspection readiness.
Evidence to sample
- Each weekly plan names one core mathematics concept and its prerequisite.
- Part 1 and Part 2 are used only when a concept requires sustained development.
- FL codes appear only where students make a genuine financial decision.
- Every week includes an SDG-linked mathematical application.
- AI evidence includes student verification, revision or responsible-use reflection.
- PBL samples demonstrate cumulative standards and student justification.
Coaching questions
- Did the context deepen the mathematics?
- Can students explain the financial or sustainable decision with evidence?
- Did students verify an AI-supported idea independently?
- Is the task accessible to EAL and SOD learners while extending G&T learners?
- What evidence shows transfer beyond the original example?
